It’s good to know the Lord and be part of his family. To help people explore this we run a ten-week Alpha course that explains things more fully. These courses are informal and many people have found them helpful and life-changing – each session of the Alpha course also includes a meal! They’re a good way to meet others, make friends, and become familiar with the Christian faith and the church family.
The support and encouragement of others means a lot and we enjoy helping each other out in different ways. Home groups meet informally in homes or in the church during the week to help with this and include prayer, Bible study, and sometimes food! Some mums meet on Tuesday mornings at the church with their small children during term-time, and some members enjoy meeting together on Wednesday afternoons.
Home groups are valuable and we hope you will try one (or more) out.
We also support our wider family across the world including missionary work support in Romania, Malawi, Israel and Mexico. The activities we support vary from supporting and sponsoring the local pastors through Christian relief to bible translation into the local dialects.
